Wine of the Month
MAPU
Bottle – PhP 1, 600 ++
Glass:
PhP 350 ++
-
Cabernet Sauvignon/Carmenere
-
Attractive, intense red with a ruby tint. Refined and generous, its black berry
aromas combining subtly with peppery notes. Fresh and fruity on the attack, its
elegant tannins sustain a range of flavours characterised by blackberry and spice. The finish
underlines the perfect balance between the elegance of Carbenet Sauvigon and
the smoothness of Carmenera.
Sauvignon
Blanc/Chardonnay
- The wine has a
brilliant and clear, golden straw colour and a frisky, open, very floral nose
on which attractive while lilac and honeysuckle aromas mingle with more
aromatic touches of peach and tropical fruit. Round and smooth, the palate
initially displays Chardonnay heft before crisp, fresh Sauvignon notes
elegantly and delicately make their appearance. Revealing a fine balance of
flavour, it combines fullness and refinement in a highly seductive whole.
