The Heritage Hotel Manila partnered with Raya Sports for the Hotel to be the official residence of the international pool participants to the “WORLD TEN BALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2009”. Mr. Eddie Yeo, General Manager, Heritage Hotel and Mr. Yen Makabenta, President of Raya Sports and Events led the partnership agreement.
The Heritage Hotel was the modern sanctuary of Even Mika “Iceman” Immonen of Finland, the current money leader in the world and surprise winner of the 2009 World Ten-Ball Championship.

Darren Appleton of Great Britain, the defending World Ten Ball champion and challengers Ralf Souquet of Germany, Ronnie Alcano of the Philippines today, and money-game king Yang Ching Shun of Chinese Taipei, and other former world champions and best players from different parts of the globe were also billeted at the Heritage Hotel during the tournament from November 25 to 30, 2009.
The six-day event has a guaranteed prize fund of $262,000 with the winner getting the lion’s share of $60,000 was held at the World Trade Center, a-10 minute drive from the Heritage Hotel.
