It is one of the few gatherings wherein the General Managers of almost all 5-Star Deluxe Hotels in Manila and the who’s who of the travel and tourism industry congregate to honor the best and the brightest across the ranks of industry professionals. The event is touted as the Oscar Awards of the hospitality industry.
The “Mabuhay Awards,” a program of the Association of Human Resources Managers in the Hospitality Industry (AHRM), aims to give recognition to outstanding rank and file employees, supervisors and managers from its member establishments.
“The Mabuhay Awards has a priceless reputation of being our industry’s most coveted award, a gift proudly given to our outstanding colleagues who have actively promoted and demonstrated service excellence themselves. We are already seeing the results of these efforts in the form of increased guest-satisfaction and consistent high-occupancy ratings,” stated Ms. Connie Velasco, AHRM President 2008-2009.
