CHRISTMAS MESSAGE BOARD FORM THE STAFF OF THE HERITAGE HOTEL MANILA

If Santa grants you a million pesos as a Christmas gift,
how will you spend it?

If Santa will grant me a million pesos as a Christmas gift, the first thing I will do is thank God and Santa because that’s what I really wish for.  How will
I spend it?  First, I will settle all my financial obligations and then save some for my children’s education.  I will also give a portion of that money to a non-government organization as a donation not only for the victims of typhoons but also for the less fortunate.  I will also spend a special Christmas with my family and friends and of course, with my Laundry family.

“If Santa grants me a million pesos I will gather all the street children in our hometown (Muntinlupa), bring them in toy kingdom and let them choose whatever toys they would want and after that I’ll give them a wonderful party with all the mascots of Jollibee , with face painting , marvelous games, and prizes to make them feel the Christmas spirit and also to make them feel that they are loved.”

Geraldine E. Aquino
Housekeeping

Thank you so much that I will have 1 million pesos and since it is yuletide season and a time to share the blessings I wont be stingy because it is given to me heartedly by Santa to spend.  Half million I will give to the poor and the half will goes to my immediate family.

If Santa would grant me one million cash as a Christmas gift, I would give half of it to my parents as gratitude to everything that they have done for me through out these years. Then I would invest some of it in putting up my own business. Lastly, I will share it to charity and save some at the bank.

“ What a generous Santa! … If he’ll give me a million peso, I will spend it to the less fortunate people. We all know that our country suffered from typhoon and there are a lot of people who are affected. In a little way I want to share it with them”
Karl Fortaleza
Kitchen

Many staff would say, they will fund their 1M for their house and lot, others will travel abroad , for those who got house already, they will buy another house, for those who were affected by typhoon - will buy rubber boat instead car.

For Riviera & Banquets Staff - they will divide amongst themselves to buy Christmas Noche Buena for their families.

If its for the whole department - we will close Enchanted Kingdom, get a caterer for 3 meals, invite each employee with their immediate family to spend the whole day there with food and  give aways to take home. We will book Island Cove for overnight stay for all families. Of course, 10% of which will be donated to charity for Christmas.

How I wish this will be real!

Best Regards,
Gladys E. Biala
Food and Beverage Manager

Honestly, we wouldn’t like to spend the one million peso- gift from Santa. Maybe, we would just save or invest it in a business for more significant use in the future. But if Santa wouldn’t allow keeping the money and must be spent in a day; we would sponsor a grand family getaway for Heritage employees to Palawan or Singapore. Better yet, it would be added as a Christmas gift (bonus) equally distributed to all employees.
